After being taught classical piano throughout childhood I found, that as an adult I had a very hard time looking at a lead sheet of music and knowing what to do with it. I took lessons from David to learn chording and how to fill-in and I learned more than I could have imagined! He is a patient teacher and truly gifted musically. He helped me transform the theory that I had learned as a child into practical techniques that I could use to attack any piece of music. David's humor and skill were just what I needed to round out my skills as a pianist and to give me the flexibility to play many types of music. I highly recommend him as a piano teacher for all types of learners!

Mr. Mount was an amazing teacher. His vast knowledge of theory and all things piano leaves you intrigued by the wonderful world of music. His persistence in teaching and his persuasive ways leads to an exceptionally well-practiced and well-taught student.
